Sentence building is very free in Neo. The English student may freely copy the order that comes naturally to him, according to the rules of his own language.
The adjective may be placed before or after the word to which it relates, and similarly for the object pronoun and for the adverb. You may say: Mi ve amar as well as Mi amar ve (I love you).
COMPLEMENT’S TRANSPOSITION. Especially in poetry, one sometimes happens to feel the desire of transposing the complement before the subject. In this case an ending n(-on, -an) may be added to the complement, in order to avoid any danger of misinterpretation:
This ending n may be used only in case of transposition; beginners may totally ignore it.
OPTIONAL GENITIVE. We may optionally use in Neo the suffix ’y (’oy), corresponding to the English ’s to mark the genitive:
